CHANGE OF PET FOOD POLICY- EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Pet Ponderosa no longer carries Canidae Pet Food due to economic issues and the our supplier going out of business given the dramatic price increase of dog food. Instead of passing along a 30% increase in dog food costs, we have decided to not raise our boarding rates and simply not offer Canidae dog food for the time being. Therefore, we are asking clients to bring their own food (free to do) or pay a small fee of $1.50 per meal while boarding. Click for more info and details about packaging your dog's food.

Pet Licensing
For your convenience Pet Ponderosa has an agreement with Pierce County Animal Control to issue NEW LICENSES only to residents in unincorporated Pierce County. There is a $4.00 surcharge for this service. If you have questions please call Pet Ponderosa at 253-847-7763 or you can go to the Pierce county Animal Control web site for additional information about pet licensing.
Animal Massage
Annette Lokovsek , LMP, SAMP has joined us to provide animal massage . Annette is a licensed massage practitioner in small animals. She has been practicing massage for the past six years. Massage improves circulation, relaxes muscles, reduce anxiety and pain. Please call for more information and to arrange for an appointment.

Rainey is showing off her pearly whites. Rainey spends her day at Pet Ponderosa when her mom Maribeth is gone and is always smiling at us. You've got to love this dog!!!
