Pet Ponderosa

The purpose of Doggy Daycare is to provide a safe, indoor/outdoor, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs during weekday business hours. This is an indoor and outdoor daycare facility. We pre-screen all our doggy day care attendees so they will get along and have an enjoyable time together. We think it's worth it, the dogs seem to have a great time. Of course, your dog has to be healthy and have all their shots current.

We also offer Puppy Day Care, where the puppies are initially kept separate from the older dogs. The puppies get naps and extra feeding if required.

24 hour advance reservations are required for daycare. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows will be charged full fees.

Doggy Daycare Requirements for Admission

All dogs must be at least 4 months of age or older.

All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.

Vaccinations

All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations.
Owners must submit written proof of DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations.
Rabies vaccination is required for puppies over 4 months of age.
Current fecal exam is required.

Health

All dogs must be in good health. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests.

Owners will certify that their dogs are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.

Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health prior to being admitted or re-admitted.

Behavior

All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.

Application

All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date application on file. There is a one-time $20.00 non-refundable application-screening fee for each pet, this is in addition to your daycare fee.

Fees are based on a pass plan. A pass is valid for 3 months from date of purchase.

Hours
Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
The Center is not an overnight facility. Staff goes off duty at 7:00 PM and there is a $1.00 per minute charge for any pet left after 6:30 PM.
